Brian Twede is an established commercial photographer who “shoots the shots that sell products.” Twede began experimenting with digital photography as far back as 1986, and has kept pace with ever-changing digital world for more than 25 years. With an education in engineering and a deep understanding of light and physics, Twede gets the shots using custom equipment, much of which he has designed and built himself. He attributes much of his eye-catching imagery to this crazy assortment of tools and techniques. Twede believes that technology is a fact of life in the world of photography today. “The balance between right brain and left brain can be elusive. Art shouldn’t have to be a tradeoff.” See more of his work at www.twede.com.
